AboutIndia

Builder. Curious mind. Teacher.

Computer scientist by training, builder by instinct. I work in machine learning and AI — and I care just as much about the people and ideas around the work.

Background

I studied Computer Science at IIT Madras, with a focus that pulled me toward machine learning and artificial intelligence. I've worked at IBM Research and Microsoft, and collaborated with researchers at Stanford and CMU.

My work sits in applied ML and AI — and increasingly in building practical AI systems end to end, not just research artifacts.

Beyond the work

I co-run an NGO in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, focused on education, higher-studies guidance, and job placement for tribal students. Helping people get a real shot is some of the most meaningful work I do — and wildlife preservation is where I hope to give more time next.

I'm extra curious by default. I love conversations about philosophy, politics, mathematics, human nature, and technology — and I'd rather learn from a person than a book. I pursue health and fitness seriously, and I steer clear of pop culture and small talk.

Hunting for a phase of life when I can feel astronaut syndrome again.

Wander into the nerds corner, some words worth keeping, or what I'm doing now.
