Hunting for a phase of life, when I can feel astronaut syndrome again!

Hello, I am Ishu D Garg. I am a graduate of the CSE Department at IIT Madras. Professionally, my main interests are in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. My career has taken me to amazing places like IBM Research, Microsoft etc, and I've had the chance to collaborate with brilliant minds at Stanford and CMU. Startups interest me, so do connect with me if you think I can be a valuable addition to your startup.

When I'm not in tech mode, with my dad I run an NGO in a tribal area called Bastar in Chhattisgarh India. It's all about helping students get the education they need, guiding them towards higher studies, and helping them find the right jobs. In the future, I want to work on projects leading to the effective preservation/restoration of wildlife.

My life has been a mix of unexpected adventures (I've even dodged a bullet literally!). Recently, I've become really focused on health and fitness, and I love meeting people who are on their own fitness journey.

I am an extra curious guy; I love to talk and listen. I'm always up for a good chat, especially about tech, philosophy, politics, math, human nature or literally anything under the sun (except for pop culture or anything mundane).
